Hope and Comfort Friends’ Club is comprised of individuals who have endured any form of loss, finding hope and comfort as they support one another.  Losses can come in many forms, for example, loss of a spouse, loss of a career, loss of a best friend, loss of children, loss of someone to suicide, loss of a pet, and loss of health or mobility, or other types of traumatic occurrences. Grief and loss are a part of life, and everyone will go through it at some point, as no one is exempt.

We cordially invite all our neighbors in the Sun City Mesquite community to join us for our monthly meetings.  We also welcome anyone from our local community.

The meetings are an hour, with light refreshments.  All are warmly welcome, and we respect each person’s dignity.  The Hope and Comfort Friends’ Club is a safe place to meet new friends, who understand what you have been through and/or what you are going through, as many of us have gone through the same things, already. We have endured through it, and you will too.  You do not have to go through it alone.

Many of our members are people who pray, so they are willing to pray for you, if you choose. However, you may opt out. We discuss the promises of hope and comfort found in the Holy Bible that give hope in times of crisis and beyond, as well as other topics on grief and loss at our club meetings.

We use the Stephen Ministry booklets Journey Through Grief.  These booklets are provided to the attendees at no cost.
